In order to be admitted to Reception class at Clunbury School parents will need to complete Shropshire Council’s application, which allows for 3 preferences to be made. Online applications can be made through the Shropshire website

or those without internet access should contact the admissions team on 0345 678 9008.

We will make every effort to ensure that parents are aware of the need to make an application. The closing date, by which all applications must be made, is 15th January preceding the start of the school year in which the child is due to start, and allocations will be made on 16th April. Late applications received after the closing date in January will normally be dealt with in April after all other places have been allocated for those received by the closing date. However, if there are good reasons for the delay such as a house move or family difficulties such as serious illness or bereavement, then such applications will be considered up until mid-March.
