Starting School
The school operates the Local Authority’s Admissions policy. Your child will be able to start this school, no later than the beginning of the term after their fifth birthday.
First days at school and its demands can be quite daunting and tiring for many young children. Some children may have attended nursery whilst others will be coming straight from home. Therefore, it is important to stress that for each child the experience of starting school will be different and include a mixture of emotions. In order to ease the introduction to school for you and your child there will be an opportunity for children to visit and spend a little time in the Reception class prior to their full-time admission. If your child is in Clunbury Nursery they will have plenty of opportunities to work with the Reception pupils and teacher. Please contact the school for details.
Parents admitting their children to Clunbury will be asked to complete the school’s own admission form to provide us with information for the school’s database.
