Transport

Some children are eligible for free transport. If you are unsure as to whether your child is eligible for free school transport please contact Integrated Transport Unit (Entitlement Team) in Development Services, Shirehall Tel. 01743 252484

No child is permitted to travel on school transport without a school bus pass or prior agreement with school. Passes can be applied for by completing a TRAN 1 form, which is available from the school office.

Where there are vacant seats on existing transport the Local Authority runs a temporary payment scheme for those pupils not eligible for free school transport. Please contact the school for further information.

If for any reason your child will not be using school transport as normal, it is important the school is notified by letter beforehand.

Bus and taxi children will be transported to and from the car park within the school grounds.

Parents using their own transport should use the area around the school to park and the school car park left clear leaving the way for the buses to pass.
